Stoddart Lock is a double track station with loops. It is a purely fictitious layout in N gauge, capable of running steam or diesel without looking out of place. The layout is just 2 feet wide and 12 feet long. This allows us to demonstrate, that using a narrow depth to the scenery, but climbing through a series of levels, a lot of detail can be a put into a layout without visually over crowding it.
All the individual houses have been done by hand. There is no ready made buildings on this layout, this takes a lot of time, effort and most of all patience. All of the buildings and accessories have been fixed with glue, to ensure that they are not damaged in transit, to and from exhibitions.
