This layout is 009 Gauge, but is OO Scale, this means that it would fit into any OO Gauge layout as a small narrow gauge railway. This layout is based upon Wanlockhead, the highest village in Scotland. It has been to many exhibitions over the years and has won many awards. The layout consists of a single oval which covers most of the board, and a station at the back which leads off past the circuit and off to sidings and a second smaller station. At the very front of the layout is a small mine, inside the mine are miners and small wagons. There are small LED's inside, which really bring the mine and the rest of the layout to life. There is a lot of activity on the layout; including an operating watermill and the famous Beam Engine of Wanlockhead, which is still there to this day.
